New Website, new name!

Well, several months after starting my new website, last week it finally went LIVE!

I have had the domain name www.vintagejewelbox.co.uk for years and decided that as 'Vintage' is definately the 'new black' and gaining a bigger following by the second it was a good time to re-brand slightly and change the name of the site and my trading name to Vintage Jewel Box

I didn't expect it to take me quite so long to complete and I now realise now how an artist must feel when they are painting or sculpting etc......you never quite know if the piece is finished, you keep tweaking this, adding that and you have to be careful not to overdo it as sometimes less is more :-)
I'm sure as time goes on I will add new things or change little elements but for now I am going to just concentrate on adding more stock so there is a good selection and making sure there are no operating glitches.

I have added quite a few new items of vintage stock to the website and to my Etsy shop Vintage Jewel Box, both a little sadly neglected just of late!

I have listed a fabulous string of cherry bakelite beads, some great chrome Art Deco cuff links, 'Selro' signed red devil bracelet and more!

PRETTY DECO NECKLACES FOR SPRING!

A quick post to say I have just bought in these pretty Art Deco necklaces which are lovely Spring and Summer wear!

All are nice and delicate and they are perfect for taking away the bareness on your neck when wearing a vintage dress or even with your t-shirt and jeans :-)

Three of them are in virtually mint condition which is amazing considering they are around 90yrs old.

GORGEOUS ART DECO BEAD & SEQUIN PURSES!

NEW IN and just uploaded onto the website are these gorgeous handbeaded vintage purses!

They are genuine Art deco evening purses c1920's and the condition is amazing!!!
I think the gold one has never been used it is so crisp and pristine, it has probably been tucked away in drawer wrapped in tissue paper for the last 90 years!
The one with the wonderful red sequins is in exceptional conditon too, maybe only used very, very carefully on a handful of occasions.
